How to make my 2g eclipse gs faster?
Alright no offense to everyone else here about DSM's but im not the completely illiterate wanna be tuner they are, I own a 99 anniversary edition eclipse..I'm not that experienced in the 420a powerplant, I'm used to working on my old GSX which had good enough stock parts working on was no problem, I have a 420a in peices in my garage. Ive now had it bored out and have everything its now a 2.2 stroker with a 16g hahnracecraft turbo. I'm looking for any help on how to boost up my whp more. Am i going to need a new fuel pump to run all this? New fuel Injectors? New Tranny to handle any power? Downpipe exhaust etc. I'd appreciate any help towards it ever since i sold the GSX ive been putting all my money into this. Please and thanks guys.
First of all, i would have just kept the GSX... haha
But, yes you will need a new/bigger fuel pump, and injectors to unleash the turbo's power. Adding a downpipe, and exhaust would certainly help free pressure and make better flow.
I'm not 100% sure about the tranny though, i believe it would be alright.
