Factors To Consider When Buying Video Games
Feeling bored and looking for some entertainment? How about some video games to keep you entertained for hours? You can play solo or with your family and friends and have a great time. So, how do you go about choosing the right (or best) video games to buy? Consider these crucial factors before heading to your nearest game store.
Replay value. This should, perhaps, be at the top of your list. You want your game to be fun, and have as much replay value as possible. What is replay value? A game has great replay value when you feel drawn to the game again and again without getting tired of it easily. Not many games have the ability to draw you back time and again. Some games, after a few plays, appear too boring. It's just not fun anymore. Video games, as you know, can be pricey (more on this later), so you want to buy a game with great replay value so that you can have as many hours of fun as possible.
Genre. You know yourself best, so this is a question that only you yourself can answer. Which genre of games do you like best? E.g. sports, first person shooting games, puzzles, etc. Although games like Call of Duty can be very popular, not everything enjoys strategic and tactical game plays. Sports games tend to be gaining in popularity recently due to the release of Kinetic sensors - a device attached to the Xbox and has the ability to sense a person's movements. This means that you can play sports related games like Dance Central without the use of any controllers. You also get a good workout all at the same time!
Buying online or offline. Video games are readily available on the Internet, which means that you can easily buy games without stepping out of your house. The game cartridge will be shipped to your house within a few short days. However, for some game titles, you may not be able to find them on the Internet. These are usually older titles that are out of production. In this case, you may wish to head out to your local video game store. Usually, these stores buy used game titles from gamers and resell them. So you may be able to find your favorite games in one of these stores. Also, the experience of shopping at a physical game store is also likely to be pleasant. Think about surrounding yourself with thousands of game titles at the store! That's sheer ecstasy! Also, you may get the opportunity to test out games before buying. You don't get such opportunities if you are buying online.
Price. Most video games (especially the newer titles) cost around $50.00. That's not a lot to pay for a game but if the game has low replay value, it will end up sitting on the shelf collecting dust. That is not money well spent. The best thing to do is to put on your shoes, grab your coat, and head out to a video game store and try out the game for yourself. See if it's worth the price before buying.

The tactical key to the game are liberties. A played stone has four adjacent spaces (except at the edge, of course). If a liberty is occupied by a stone of the same colour, the two are connected, share liberties, and live or die together. If a stone, or connected group of stones', liberties are all occupied by stones of the other colour, they're captured. Because of the way captures are resolved, a group with a single internal liberty, or eye, can be connected, but one with two eyes (or enough space to make them) cannot.
The strategic key to the game is territory. Capturing the most stones is rarely the way to win; staking out the largest area of the board and defending it if challenged almost all is.
