How to fix your vacuum cleaner

6) If your vacuum cleaner works intermittently, it could be that it's overheating during use. This could be down to a number of different issues, such as a frayed power cable, clogged filters or a problem with the motor.
7) Check the bag. It's amazing how quickly they fill up and then the vacuum then no longer picks up enough. Check it regularly and replace as and when it needs it. If you don;t, it could overwork other parts of the vacuum.
Don't overreach with your vacuum. Be sure to use the longer hoses provided or an extension cable. If you're putting unnecessary strain on your cleaner, it could incur damage over time.
9) To avoid recurring problems, why not consider investing in replacement parts or additional parts - like a longer hose or cable - to extend the life-span of your vacuum cleaner.
10) Visit the websites of the product itself to see if there are any common vacuum cleaner problems that are specific to that product and whether there are any quick fixes.
