What religions and beliefs did he have?
Did he have many friends?

1. What religions and Beliefs did he have?
I'm not sure, but I would say he was either Catholic or Lutheran/Protestant. Many English people back then were. I also know that many pirates were those religions and very religious, even though many were ruthless.
2. Did he have many friends?
I'd say not, unless his crew members were his friends. He spent most time at sea, and when he was one land he probably spent the time drinking and having sex. There have been talk of his 14th wife, but there are not accounts of the previous 13 wives. But some people wonder if she really was his 14th wife, since he didn't spend enough time on land to continously get married.
3. Was he always a hunted man?
No. Before becoming a pirate, he worked on a British ship as a privateer during the War of the Spanish Succession. After the war was over, he became a pirate. Eventually, he was caught but since he was such an hounerable man before, he was given another chance. He married(possibly his 14th wife) and she and others tried to tame him again. It worked for a while, but he couldn't be changed forever. Eventually, he returned to piracy and he even took his wife and shared her among his crew, though the treatment of his wife is not proven.
PS. I know this happened to somebody, but I am not completely sure if it was Blackbeard, but I'm almost positive.
