Munni Badnaam Hui Creates A History By Entering Guinness Book
‘Badnaam Munni' has gained loads of ‘Sunaam' finally! It is a time to celebrate both for the Munni girl Malaika Khan Arora and her fans, as the item song has made its place in Guinness Book of World Records! The song has indeed created a history and has now become immortal by securing a place in the prestigious Book of Records.
The item song became a smash hit the moment it was aired through the trailers of the blockbuster hit film Dabangg last year and now with its historical achievement it has become a phenomenal hit globally. The event that brought the item number to such a level took place at Melbourne Park, Melbourne, Australia in which 1,200 people danced on the number for a span of three minutes. The participants kept dancing continuously without any break or discomfort for the three long minutes. Malaika received a special certificate for setting the record.
Malaika too was present in the event and danced along with the participants with all her signature moves and body movements. Her mere presence brought the participants to relentless move and they kept dancing for three long minutes! This never ending zealousness of the participants made the event a record to be registered in the Guinness Book! The event was organized by Mitu Bhowmick Lange, the director of Indian Film Festival 2011. The actual purpose of the event was to popularize Bollywood in Australia.
Malaika was not the only shining star to make the event rocking! Director Kabir Khan and famous Pakistani pop icon Ali Zafar were also present to make the event glittering and rocking! ‘No One Killed Jessica ‘ team was found partially present as Vidya Balan and the director Raj Kumar Gupta were also spotted out there. Malaika's husband Arbaaz Khan was also seen at the event.
Notably, the same song had made a record earlier also! It was in Singapore where more than 1,008 people rocked on the dance floor with the rhythm of this action packed item number. The song has become quite popular even in Pakistan lately. The famous Pakistani comedian Umar Sharif recently performed a play which was titled "Munni Badnaam Hui". Sharif had put his feet on the stage after a long time. The song became a popular number for wedding processions, discotheques, and several other events in India from the very moment of its release but now even the Pakistani events are rocking at the beats of the popular item song!
