Final Fantasy 14: Disciplines of War Guide
The five Disciples of War
Final fantasy 14 uses a function which is called the Disciples of War. These jobs are differentiated according to the weapon that is being used. There are total five jobs under the Disciples of War. These are Archer, Pugilist, Lancer, Gladiator, and Marauder. They all have different weapon which makes the job. If the player tries switching the weapon then he will also have to change the class the character is currently in and also to the level which is appropriate for that weapon. This switch can be made easily by using one or the other kind of weapon. This change cannot be made when the player is on the fly in battle.
Archers is one of the jobs under the Disciple of War. It involves the skill needed for archery. This involves the use of bow and arrow. For this the player needs to utilize long distance range to optimize their damage. The type of damage being caused also depends on the type of arrow being used by the player. For example the status infliction arrows will cause the enemy to have a negative status if the arrow hits the target.
The Pugilist is a type of job in the final fantasy 14. It is also another term for Boxer. This means that the Pugilist will use their knuckles to fight. They use their knuckles like claws. For this they will have to use a close range combat style. They can change the stance according to the attack being made or to block the move.
The Lancer is a job that causes mid-ranged physical damage. It focuses on the use of the pole arms. They are long poles and have spears at the end. The main point that the player needs to remember is the position of the Lancer. The Lancer can easily use it to damage more than one enemy at a time. For this he needs to line up properly and use the weapon swiftly.
The Gladiator is another of the jobs under the Disciple of War. It is found in final fantasy 14 and it is a tank type job. It is used for close range fighting. The players have a sword and a shield. The gladiator can use his weapon to provoke the enemy. He can use it to focus the enemies' hostility and allow others to make the damage without causing any serious harm.
The Marauder is another unique job under the Disciple of War found in the final fantasy 14. The weapon a Marauder has is an axe which he can use to cause physical damage. The axe is a two handed axe. They have to do a close quarter combat. They are not scared of coming close to their enemy to fight and win. The axe also causes blows to the enemy surrounding the player and the enemy under combat. This helps causing more damage to the enemy.
The game is exciting and these weapons make it even more so. The changing of the weapon makes the game go on for a longer period adding to the players' excitement
About the Author
emotional response to killing in combat?
I have kind of a weird question; where can I find info about the emotional responses people go through after they kill someone in combat? I'm writing a fantasy novel in which the main character has just killed an enemy in battle for the first time, and I need to know what sorts of things she might feel. I was searching online to see if there were any resources, such as interviews with military soldiers about how they handled the emotions surrounding combat death, but I don't know where to look. Thanks.
Well I guess there's no wrong answer here since u r writing fiction.
Nobody knows the main character like u do, so she could respond many different ways.
Since she's female and the genre is fantasy I don't really think that she would react say like a soldier who has killed his enemy in Iraq.
I don't think you'll really find any help from real life soldiers...
She COULD react with waves of euphoria flowing through her body because she had so much hate for her enemy or she could show a human side and feel some guilt over killing another living being...
