I don't play games often. I'm planning on getting a ps3 for Christmas and wanted a good game that would last a while. I have tennis conditioning every weekday.
There is nothing wrong with playing video games. Only those with no time management skills are hurt by them.
Dbz: Burst Limit
"The single player campaigns are a string of levels that very loosely mirror events in seasons of the anime, although based on the game’s cutscenes newcomers will be hard-pressed to figure out what’s going on. There are quite a few of these campaign matches and they can be beaten at multiple difficulty levels, for each of which the player’s effort is graded, so there’s an impulsive self-improving replayability to them. This aside there’s no real sense of drama or meaning in the fights unless - I imagine - you’ve seen the anime. The game doesn’t offer any context for your battles outside the fights, either. Compared to something like last year’s Naruto: Rise of a Ninja with its 3D platforming components, lush environments and strong plot (complete with key scenes from the anime slotted in), it’s something of a disappointment. Indeed, beyond the basic single player campaign and the multiplayer modes, there’s very little to do in Burst Limit. "
15 to 20 hours MAYBE. Big let down.

"The main story is 30-40 hours. New game+ offers new quests and a harder difficulty mode, hidden characters to unlock and 20 medals for achieving various tasks should keep you going for 100 hours."
I don't know too much about this game, but I've only heard people who LOVED it.
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice
"While it excels in the humor department, Disgaea 3's story is a bit shorter than that of past iterations of the series. There are eight chapters and the game will take quite a while to complete (a short game in the context of an SRPG is far different from a short game in the context of an action title or an FPS). On the plus side, the post-game options (that is, what you can do once you've cleared the main story) are greater than ever, and if you want, you can easily spend a couple hundred hours with this game. "
Eternal Sonata
" I finished it in under 24 hours of gameplay; this was with three tacked-on quests that served literally no purpose except to waylay the player. The 24 hour mark on the clock is usually when an RPG starts getting into the second or even third act, but Eternal Sonata just sort of ends. Based on the abbreviated progression of events, it seems clear that Tri-Crescendo was counting on stretching the game out over two or three titles a la dot Hack. For whatever reason, they just decided to wrap everything up after twenty hours and push the player into a rushed finale. "
Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction
"The campaign was short. Not super short, just short. And normally that is OK, but the game didn't come with any multiplayer whatsoever; and sans-multiplayer combined with a short campaign is a thumbs-down in my book. With the cost of games nowadays I can't justify spending the same amount of money on something that gets 6-10 hours of my time vs. open-ended multiplayer.
Replay value . . ? Like the others, when you finish you can start immediately over from the beginning, but with everything you've collected throughout the whole game. The only problem is, they didn't seem to make the difficulty harder (or if they did I didn't notice). Also, you cannot continue leveling your weapons up. You can collect massive amounts of bolts because of a "bolt-multiplier" system they integrated but I didn't see anything new to buy, and I had already had everything before I finished the game the first time. Granted I didn't play all the way through the second go so there might have been new things I didn't see after the 4th level."
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm
"Storm also doubles as a compelling action-adventure game through a lengthy 8-10 hour Ultimate Mission Mode campaign following the story arc of the original animated TV show. This campaign transforms the game into much more than just a standard fighter, with a fully explorable Hidden Leaf Village hub, boatloads of story and optional missions, various mini-game challenges, and epically scaled Giant Creature battles that have to be seen to be believed."
